THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE PARK A new and ambitious project is well underway on the East River waterfront, and the entrance is just a few blocks from 20 Henry on Middagh Street. Brooklyn Bridge Park will stretch along the East River from north of the Manhattan Bridge to Atlantic Avenue. The park will transform this stretch of river frontage into a magnificent public space filled with lawns, recreation, beaches, coves, restored habitats, playgrounds and beautifully landscaped areas. This is the most significant park development in Brooklyn since Prospect Park was built 135 years ago.
